Tsavo National Park

Tsavo National Park, Kenya’s largest protected area, is divided into Tsavo East and Tsavo West and is known for its vast wilderness and dramatic landscapes. The park is famous for its “red elephants,” which are often seen dusted in the region’s distinctive red soil. Visitors can explore diverse scenery ranging from open plains to volcanic hills and lava flows. Highlights include Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear waters reveal hippos and fish below the surface, as well as opportunities to spot lions, leopards, and buffalo in a less crowded and more remote setting.
